This is the Italeri 1:24 scale DAF XF105 Maritime Truck and Trailer kit that I have added lights to and created an opening cab door. This is one of many model kits that I have made with authentic lighting as I like to create some atmosphere with something that would otherwise 'just sit there doing nothing'. My aim is to inspire others to take that model kit and try to build some life into it and make it look more realistic. I am no expert but we all had to start somewhere didn't we?

Before I start with a description, this is a Maritime War Model NOT the traditional Air Force Model. The Hamilton Model 23 Military chronograph was introduced in 1943 and produced until 1956. Among other more traditional uses of a chronograph, this watch was used in conjunction with a military Mark III Octant as a navigational tool. Unlike most of the Model 23 chronographs that can be found today, this piece is an official military issue chronograph. Military issue AN 5742-1, one of the most rare models. Here's the details: HAMILTON (Model 23 Military Pocket Chronograph) - Excellent 49mm signed Keystone base metal screw back case (#4786xx) with screw down crystal and coin-edge bezel front and back (full military markings on case back), signed 19 jewel Model 23 chronograph movement, a...
